SUR LES TRACES DE L’HISTOIRE AU SHOWA-KAN
Le 15 avril, les élèves de 4ème SIJ du lycée français international de Tokyo, accompagnés de M. ABE et de Mme TOMALA, ont visité le Showa-kan, musée consacré à la vie quotidienne au Japon pendant et après la guerre.
À travers les collections, les objets du quotidien et les explications d’un intervenant du musée, les élèves ont découvert avec précision et sensibilité les réalités vécues par la population japonaise entre 1935 et 1955. Cette visite leur a permis de mieux comprendre les difficultés de la guerre, les défis de l’après-guerre et la capacité de reconstruction d’une société confrontée à l’adversité.
Cette sortie illustre pleinement l’ambition du lycée français international de Tokyo : proposer à ses élèves un enseignement exigeant, ouvert sur le monde, attentif à l’histoire, à la culture et à la formation du regard critique.
Former des élèves éclairés, curieux et capables de comprendre les sociétés dans toute leur complexité fait partie intégrante du projet éducatif de notre établissement.
4月15日、東京国際フランス学園の4ème SIJの生徒たちは、ABE先生とTOMALA先生とともに、戦中・戦後の日本の暮らしを紹介する昭和館を訪問しました。
展示資料や生活用品、そして館内スタッフによる詳しい説明を通して、生徒たちは1935年から1955年にかけての日本社会と、人々が直面した困難について理解を深めました。戦時中の生活だけでなく、戦後復興の時代についても学ぶことで、歴史をより具体的かつ人間的に捉えることができました。
この校外学習は、東京国際フランス学園が大切にしている教育方針をよく示しています。すなわち、世界に開かれ、歴史や文化への理解を深め、批判的思考を育む質の高い教育です。
本校はこれからも、生徒一人ひとりが社会を深く理解し、自ら考える力を育める学びの機会を大切にしてまいります。
On April 15, students from 4ème SIJ at the International French School in Tokyo, accompanied by Mr. ABE and Ms. TOMALA, visited the Showa-kan, a museum dedicated to daily life in Japan during and after the war.
Through the collections, everyday objects and detailed explanations provided by a museum guide, the students discovered with depth and sensitivity the realities experienced by the Japanese population between 1935 and 1955. The visit helped them better understand the hardships of wartime, the challenges of the post-war period and the resilience shown by society in times of reconstruction.
This educational outing fully reflects the ambition of the International French School in Tokyo: to offer students a demanding education that is open to the world and deeply rooted in history, culture and critical thinking.
