LES OCÉANS AU CŒUR DES SCIENCES ET DE L’ORIENTATION

 

Les élèves de Seconde B et de Seconde D du LFI Tokyo, accompagnés par Mme DEHEZ et Mme SILVAIN, ont assisté à une intervention passionnante de Mme LÉVY, océanographe, accompagnée de M. Xavier BRESSAUD, conseiller scientifique.

Au programme : le rôle essentiel de l’eau dans les équilibres de la planète, les grands courants marins, les échanges entre l’océan et l’atmosphère, l’influence des océans sur le climat mondial, mais aussi la découverte du métier d’océanographe.

Cette rencontre a également permis aux élèves de réfléchir à leur orientation, tout en abordant les liens entre sciences et société ainsi que les différences culturelles entre la France et le Japon.

Un moment riche et interactif, qui illustre l’ouverture scientifique, internationale et humaine du lycée français international de Tokyo.

 

Students from Seconde B and Seconde D at the International French School in Tokyo, accompanied by Ms DEHEZ and Ms SILVAIN, attended an inspiring presentation by oceanographer Ms LÉVY, together with scientific adviser Mr Xavier BRESSAUD.

The session explored the essential role of water in the planet’s balance, major ocean currents, ocean-atmosphere interactions, and the key influence of oceans on the global climate. Students also discovered the profession of oceanographer and reflected on possible scientific career paths.

This meaningful exchange also opened discussion on science and society, as well as cultural perspectives between France and Japan.

A rich and interactive learning experience, reflecting the international, scientific and humanistic approach of the International French School in Tokyo.

 

東京国際フランス学園の高校1年B組・D組の生徒たちは、DEHEZ先生とSILVAIN先生の引率のもと、海洋学者LÉVY氏による講演に参加しました。講演には、科学顧問のXavier BRESSAUD氏も同行しました。

生徒たちは、水が地球のバランスに果たす役割、海流、海と大気の関係、そして海洋が世界の気候に与える大きな影響について学びました。

また、海洋学者という職業や研究者としての歩みについても知ることができ、進路を考えるうえで貴重な機会となりました。

科学、社会、フランスと日本の文化の違いについても考える、豊かで対話的な学びの時間となりました。
