Situé au cœur du quartier résidentiel de Takinogawa (Kita-ku), le lycée français international de Tokyo est facilement accessible en transports en commun comme en voiture. Nos équipes veillent à un accueil fluide et sécurisé aux heures d’affluence, pour que chaque élève commence sa journée dans les meilleures conditions.

En train et métro
- Toei Mita Line – Station Shin-Itabashi (新板橋駅) : 6 à 7 minutes à pied (sortie A1 recommandée).
- JR Saikyo Line – Station Itabashi (板橋駅) : 9 à 10 minutes à pied (côté Est).
- Toei Mita Line – Station Nishi-Sugamo (西巣鴨駅) : environ 12 minutes à pied.
Conseil pratique. Les trottoirs sont larges et sécurisés autour du campus ; prévoyez un léger temps d’avance aux heures de pointe pour un trajet serein avec les enfants.
En bus public
Plusieurs arrêts desservent directement le périmètre du lycée :
- Chuo Koen (Kita-ku) 中央公園（北区） – env. 6 minutes à pied.
- Kita Tokubetsu Shien Gakko 北特別支援学校 – env. 6 minutes à pied.
Ces arrêts sont desservis par la ligne 王22 / 王22-2 (Kokusai Kogyo Bus) entre Oji-eki et Itabashi-eki.
En voiture (dépose-minute & stationnement)
Pour la sécurité des élèves et la fluidité du site, le parking du lycée est prioritairement réservé aux bus scolaires à certaines plages horaires :
- Matin : 08h00 → 08h20,
- Après-midi : 15h00 → 15h50,
- Mercredi : 12h00 → 13h20.
Aucun véhicule particulier n’est autorisé dans la zone pendant ces créneaux, l’accès peut être retardé si nécessaire pour les transports scolaires. En dehors de ces horaires, les familles peuvent accéder au parking pour un rendez-vous ou une participation à la vie du lycée, avec départ du véhicule avant 15h00. La circulation se fait au pas et à sens unique ; merci de suivre les indications du personnel en charge.
Important – respect du voisinage et de la réglementation locale
Le stationnement sur la voie publique étant interdit dans le quartier, merci d’utiliser des parkings publics payants à proximité (ex. parkings TIMES) et de ne pas occuper les parkings des riverains, même pour un court instant.
Pour la dépose élémentaire, privilégiez le dépose-minute (enfant prêt à descendre, cartable à portée de main), pour la maternelle, un stationnement est possible sur le parking après l’ouverture (08h20 le matin ; 16h00 l’après-midi, jusqu’à 12h00 le mercredi).
Service de bus scolaire (maternelle et élémentaire)
Le LFI Tokyo organise un service de bus scolaire pour les élèves du primaire, au départ de points de montée prédéfinis et après inscription par les familles. Ce service est encadré par des personnels dédiés et s’articule avec les horaires d’arrivée sur site.
Préparez votre venue
- Itinéraire en transports : privilégiez Shin-Itabashi (Toei Mita) ou Itabashi (JR Saikyo).
- En voiture : évitez les créneaux réservés aux bus,suivez le fléchage sens unique et roulez au pas.
- En bus public : ligne 王22 / 王22-2 (Oji ↔ Itabashi), arrêts 中央公園（北区） ou 北特別支援学校.

Nestled in Takinogawa (Kita-ku), the International School in Tokyo is easy to reach by public transport and by car. At peak times, our on-site team manages flows to keep arrivals safe, smooth and welcoming for every child.

Train & Metro
- Toei Mita Line — Shin-Itabashi Station : approx. 6–7 minutes’ walk (A1 exit recommended).
- JR Saikyō Line — Itabashi Station : approx. 9–10 minutes’ walk (East side).
- Toei Mita Line — Nishi-Sugamo Station : around 12 minutes on foot.
Public bus
Two convenient stops lie within a short walk of the campus :
- Chuo Koen (Kita-ku) — about 6 minutes’ walk
- Kita Tokubetsu Shien Gakko — about 6 minutes’ walk
Both are served by Kokusai Kogyo Bus routes Oji-eki ↔ Itabashi-eki (No. 王22 / 王22-2).
Arriving by car (drop-off & parking)
For pupil safety and smooth traffic management, the school parking area is reserved for school buses at specific times :
- Morning : 08:00–08:20
- Afternoon : 15:00–15:50
- Wednesdays : 12:00–13:20
No private vehicles are allowed on site during these windows; opening may be delayed as needed to prioritise school transport. Outside these times, families may access the car park for appointments or school activities, provided vehicles leave before 15:00.
Traffic is one-way and walking-pace; please follow staff directions.
Neighbourhood etiquette & local rules
On-street parking is prohibited in the area. Please use nearby public coin-parking facilities (e.g., TIMES) and do not occupy residents’ parking or pavements even briefly. For Primary pupils, use kiss-and-go drop-off (child ready to alight promptly); for Kindergarten, limited short-stay parking is available after the morning/afternoon opening times (08:20 in the morning; 16:00 in the afternoon; until 12:00 on Wednesdays).
School bus service (Kindergarten & Primary)
A registered school-bus service operates for primary school pupils, with designated pick-up points and trained attendants, aligned with campus arrival procedures.

- Fastest routes : Shin-Itabashi (Toei Mita) or Itabashi (JR Saikyo).
- By car : avoid bus-only windows; respect one-way traffic and slow speed on site.
- By bus : use routes 王22 / 王22-2 via Chuo Koen (Kita-ku) or Kita Tokubetsu Shien Gakko stops.
